I brought my vehicle in because I was having what seemed like electrical/power issues. I appreciated the communication that I received while my vehicle was being serviced. I'm also grateful that the actual cost was a bit lower than the estimate. However, on Monday (three days after having my vehicle back), I had absolutely zero power to my car. After spending $2800 for service, this was a shock and I was in a panic as I wasn't even able to get the key out of the ignition. I called the service desk for guidance and was told it was likely a dead battery, which didn't make sense, for two reasons: my battery is 13 months old and is OEM, and I was told during service that the issue was with the alternator (among other things that were fixed) - the battery was not mentioned. However, the service desk employee was very kind and said that if I had a way to get my car jump started and/or towed in, he could have a technician look at it the next day (the shop was closing as I called). Thankfully, my son was able to come to my job, and is knowledgeable enough about cars to try to help. Immediately after opening the hood, he could see that my battery had not been tightened properly, causing it to come disconnected. After fixing the problem, he called the dealership and left a message with the service desk, notifying them of the problem so they knew I would not be dropping it off. I'm not hoping for anyone to be reprimanded, nor am I seeking reimbursement for any portion of the service, but today is Thursday (day three after the message), and I have not heard back from anyone at the dealership acknowledging their error, which disappoints me more than the error itself.

Transfer lines replaced then 2-3 days later had to redo because of oil leaks. The same period had spark plugs replaced and so far that is great with no problems. I still trust and recommend the service department.

I know dealerships charge more for labor but the recent work I had done cost me over $190 for labor that took 55 minutes to do. I was originally given a quote for that amount for the labor which said it would be for 1.5 hours. If it took less time, I feel like the final total should have been adjusted.

I was most impressed that since their credit card system would not accept either of my credit cards they let me go home for the check book. After I paid the bill, and restarted my car I got a check engine light. They immediately got a service person out to the park lot to check my car. They took the car back for additional service and provide a ride home for me. I am very much thankful for the service they provided/

I completed a google review noting the great experience with Wayne at Preston Chevrolet. I live out of state and was frustrated with lack of communication and assistance from local dealers. One dealer ghosted me once I was trying to set up a time to test drive. I reached out to Preston via the main Chevrolet website, utilizing the current inventory tab. I filtered down on what I was looking for and sent a message requesting information. Wayne at Preston reached out within a few minutes and started the ball rolling. That was the end of the day communication, since I sent the message near 730pm. By the next morning, we were working on a plan to ship/deliver the truck to me. Wayne kept in great communication throughout the day and we had our new 2025 2500HD by the end of the day. Shout out to Wayne and Preston Chevrolet.

Check out was terrible. The women had the invoice pre done at a price of over $113.00 for an oil change and tire rotation on a 2022 equinox. I told her their web site had a special advertised fot around $74.95 through the end of the month. She looked shocked and took the invoice to someone else, apparently asking them about the advertised price. Hard to believe that the person working at the checkout in the service department had no knowledge about their advertised specials. From there things went down hill. Trying to use my reward points was areal pain. She needed the last four of my rewards account number, which I didn't have with me. It took around 20 minutes to checkout.

Saturday hours for customers that work during the week is a plus. I am happy to see Preston is trying to keep JP Chevrolet family style business alive. Bill Church and his son Billie were a staple at this site on Saturdays. I miss that! I don’t know the manager or Owner now. I bought my first 85 Camero here at age 23. I am now a 62 yr old Grandmother which owns a Chevy Equinox. I feel safe with my grandson and still go this dealership. Just feels comfortable.

My experience at the dealership went very well but I’m highly disappointed in GM. It took almost a month and half to determine and approve replacing the transmission in my vehicle. I’ve owned roughly 15 different vehicles from Mercedes to Toyota and this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a manufacturer. Again, the dealership was great, GM not so much.
